Buffalo is the Wright County seat and a natural western anchor for our Big Lake crew. Twenty-five minutes is close enough to keep Buffalo on the regular schedule with Monticello and St. Michael.

The work splits cleanly: lake-side storage that has to respect access and neighbors, and farm or hobby buildings west of town that need to work in weather. We price the site, not a statewide average.

Wright County acreage around Buffalo is a realistic barndominium setting when the owner wants living space and a shop without two separate contracts.

What Buffalo sites usually need

Buffalo combines lake-adjacent residential lots, in-town parcels, and genuine agricultural ground west of the city. Lake properties bring access and drainage constraints; farm parcels bring snow, wind, and equipment-door decisions.

Typical Buffalo projects

  • Agricultural and equipment barns
  • Lake-property shops and storage
  • Residential pole barns on acreage
  • Commercial shops for Wright County businesses
